Jerusalem is a city in constant dialogue between its rich historical past and its evolving urban future. Alongside ancient stone buildings and long-established neighborhoods, the capital's skyline is changing, offering modern residential alternatives that combine advanced planning, contemporary construction standards, and an authentic urban fabric.

The Israel Canada Group, a leading real estate investment company, is at the forefront of this urban renewal momentum. The group's approach is rooted in the belief that the environment in which people live has a direct impact on their quality of life. Specializing in identifying land and assets in strategic locations, the group operates according to its signature "Better & Different" strategy, which aims to redefine industry standards.

The mixed-use development concept implemented by the group in Israel brings together residential, office, commercial, and leisure spaces within a single urban environment. This approach transforms luxury real estate in Jerusalem into a complete, carefully planned lifestyle ecosystem. Here is a closer look at two of the group's flagship projects, each showcasing the group's architectural vision and its approach to creating vibrant, community-focused urban environments.

Midtown Jerusalem

Inspired by major global cities such as New York and London, Jerusalem is introducing its own Midtown district - a vibrant urban hub where culture, business, and leisure come together. Located at 161 Jaffa Street, Midtown Jerusalem occupies a strategic position between the city's main entrance and the Old City. The complex is situated near one of the largest transportation hubs in the Middle East, ensuring excellent accessibility for residents, visitors, and hotel guests alike.

Midtown Jerusalem is more than a residential development; it is an advanced mixed-use complex spanning approximately 17 dunams. Designed by architect Raphael de la Fontaine of D-BLK Architects, the project features a bold and multifaceted architectural composition:

  • Iconic Office Tower – A 40-story tower offering 60,000 square meters of advanced workspace.
  • Two Magnificent Residential Towers – Two 40-story towers comprising approximately 350 luxury apartments and totaling about 80,000 square meters of residential space.
  • Mixed-Use Tower – A tower featuring an elegant business hotel on the first 14 floors, with 26 additional floors dedicated to 200 long-term rental apartments.
  • Commercial Avenue – A 6,000-square-meter retail area designed with a distinctive urban character.
  • Public Spaces – 11,000 square meters dedicated to the well-being of the community and visitors.
  • Extensive Underground Parking – More than 90,000 square meters of underground parking.

The project has gained recognition for its seamless integration of luxury towers with heritage buildings rich in history and character. The result is a residential and urban experience that combines the charm of historic Jerusalem with modern construction standards.

The pastoral project

While Midtown represents Jerusalem's bustling cosmopolitan center, the Pastoral project offers a residential experience centered on the balance between urban living and nature. The project is located in southwest Jerusalem, in an elevated position within the well-established Kiryat HaYovel neighborhood.

Pastoral benefits from its proximity to the picturesque Ein Kerem neighborhood, the Light Rail station, and major transportation routes. Its elevated location provides residents with open views of the Jerusalem Forest and serene landscapes, redefining luxury living for those seeking tranquility and green surroundings in the heart of the city.

The development features an architectural design that makes masterful use of the site's unique sloping topography:

  • Four Residential Towers – Four 23-story towers offering premium luxury apartments.
  • Connecting Boutique Building – An intimate seven-story structure that elegantly connects the towers.
  • Central Piazza – A vibrant square at the heart of the complex, serving as a communal anchor and featuring upscale cafés, boutique shops, and kindergartens.
  • Terraced Construction – A terraced design that allows the project to blend naturally into the slope between Brazil Street and Arthur Hantke Street, while maintaining a connection to classic Jerusalem aesthetics.

Built close to parks and leading educational institutions, the project creates a family-oriented, community-focused living environment.

A commitment to architectural excellence

Across all its projects, the Israel Canada Group maintains a strong commitment to collaborating with leading architectural firms. Whether through the vibrant energy of Midtown in Jerusalem's Jaffa Street district or the serenity of the Pastoral project overlooking the landscapes of Ein Kerem, the group strives to create architectural landmarks for modern Jerusalem.

These are not merely real estate projects, but living environments designed to provide meaningful added value to both residents and the city itself.
