Passengers aboard a Delta Air Lines flight that landed at Ben Gurion Airport were urgently evacuated following an anonymous bomb threat, triggering a major security alert at Israel's main international airport.
The incident began when authorities received an anonymous report warning that a bomb was on board the aircraft. Following the alert, officials ordered the immediate evacuation of all passengers to ensure their safety.
As passengers were moved away from the aircraft, airport security personnel launched extensive searches of the plane to determine whether the anonymous threat is credible and rule out any potential danger.
Israel Airports Authority spokesperson: "Following a report of a suspicious item aboard a Delta Air Lines plane that landed at Ben Gurion Airport, the aircraft was moved to a remote parking area. All passengers disembarked safely. The aircraft was thoroughly searched by Ben Gurion Airport security personnel.
