At the Israel Hayom summit in New York, former ambassador Gilad Erdan revealed that the Shin Bet security agency had informed him that the terrorists carried instructions to attack paramedics and ambulances. He argued that Israel had abandoned the battlefield of public diplomacy. Asked whether he planned to return to politics, he replied that there was much to fix in Israel and that he had always felt his purpose was to serve Israeli citizens.
Kahalani: 'Years from now we will realize that the war with Iran changed us for the better'
Israeli war hero Avigdor Kahalani spoke at the Israel Hayom summit in New York and said he was unimpressed by the current talks between Jerusalem and the regime in Syria. “I don’t believe them. They want to kill us. But we can give up the summit of Mount Hermon,” he said. On Iran he added, “We had to defend ourselves, and in the future we will discover that this brought quiet.”
