When authoritarian regimes lie to their own people about a worldwide, contagious disease, their lies have an impact on those of us who are otherwise mercifully spared from living under their direct jurisdiction.
The facilities are mostly earmarked for soldiers who contract the virus, to reduce the stress on civilian hospitals, but will also admit civilians if the need arises. The army is also preparing to help police enforce the countrywide quarantine.
