Two days after the body of Israeli Esther Horgan was found near her home in the Samaria community of Tal Menashe in Samaria, the Israel Shin Bet security service announced the capture of her suspected killer.
The suspect, who lives in the nearby Palestinian community, is believed to have beaten her to death after spotting her jogging near her home on Sunday night.

Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan said that Horgan had left her home at about 1 p.m. Sunday for a run in the forest. A few hours later, when she had not returned, her husband alerted security forces who found her body on Monday morning.
A gag order had been in place until the arrest was made. During the manhunt, the Israel Defense Forces increased troop levels in the area.
The Samaria community of Tel Menashe is still mourning Horgan, a mother of six.
Speaking to Army Radio on Monday, chairman of the Tal Menashe security committee Eliezer Roth, said that Horgan's "entire life was devoted to peace and protecting the families... She went to work out in a beautiful forest, completely sure she would return home."
