A total of four rockets were fired from Gaza. One landed in the yard of a home, causing minor damage to the building and a car. No injuries were reported.

IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Ran Kochav spoke to Channel 12 News on Thursday morning, saying that the targets hit in Israeli strikes included one of Hamas' underground facilities where rocket launching mechanisms were manufactured and anti-aircraft positions.

"Attempts to take down planes failed, and no aircraft were damaged and no crews were injured," the IDF spokesman said.
"This will significantly impede rocket manufacturing capabilities in Gaza. We hold Hamas responsible for all terrorist activities emanating from Gaza," the IDF Spokesman said on Twitter.

After the strikes, Color Red sirens went off in the western Negev. Initially, the IDF thought that another volley of rockets had been fired, but it turned out that the sirens had been triggered by machine gun fire. However, interceptor missiles were fired toward the source of the shooting, and the IDF is probing how and why that occurred.
On Monday evening, a rocket fired from Gaza, for which neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Islamic Jihad appeared to be responsible, was intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system. No damage or injuries were reported.
