Fire crews reported multiple wildfire outbreaks in the Tiberias area following the firing of dozens of rockets on Sunday morning by Hezbollah. Emergency teams from the Tiberias station responded to several fires that erupted in the Lower Galilee region, all stemming from rocket fire originating in Lebanon. The rocket barrage appears to be in retaliation to the assassination of a senior Hezbollah rocket operative on Saturday, for which it blamed Israel.

A 28-year-old man suffered shrapnel injuries during the latest attack on the Lower Galilee and was rushed to a hospital near Tiberias. Magen David Adom in Israel paramedic David Pechima and senior EMT Aviad Omar stated, "The patient was fully conscious but had sustained shrapnel wounds to his body. We administered medical treatment and transported him to the hospital. His condition is serious but stable."

In the early hours of Sunday, Israeli Air Force jets struck Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, including a terror outpost and observation posts in the Houla and Al-Adaisseh areas. Throughout the day, the IDF conducted artillery strikes to neutralize threats in Yaroun, Maroun al-Ras, and Blida.

Meanwhile, the IDF conducted an airstrike on the Khan Younis city hall in the Gaza Strip, which Hamas had been using for military purposes. The building, which housed an operational shaft connected to an underground network and served as a gathering point for Hamas operatives, was targeted based on intelligence from the Shin Bet and Southern Command. The 98th Division's directed the strike to eliminate the operative responsible for the previous night's rocket launch toward Nahal Oz and destroyed the launch site.

In a potentially significant development, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa reported that Hezbollah has shown "flexibility regarding any proposal on the borders" between Israel and Lebanon, according to an unnamed source. The source suggested that "stopping the fighting on the borders will open the door to efforts that can be carried out within a short period."
