Israel Hayom is a media organization founded on the belief that the Israeli public deserves better journalism—more balanced, more accurate, and more reliable. Journalism that speaks rather than shouts. Journalism that is trustworthy, objective, and matter-of-fact. A different kind of journalism, offered free of charge. The first print edition was published on July 30, 2007, and in 2010 Israel Hayom became the Israeli newspaper with the highest weekday readership. The newspaper’s publisher is Dr. Miriam Adelson. Its Editor-in-Chief is Omar Lachmanovitch, and its founding editor is Amos Regev. Israel Hayom’s Hebrew and English websites, as well as its Android and iOS applications, provide around-the-clock news coverage, exclusive content, breaking news and updates, analysis and commentary, video, podcasts, and live broadcasts. The digital platforms of Israel Hayom include news and opinion channels covering culture and entertainment, lifestyle, technology, sports, business and consumer affairs, health, military affairs, food, Judaism, tourism, and automobiles. In 2021, a new Hebrew-language website and mobile application were launched to provide users with a fast, up-to-date, secure, and convenient experience. The content of the newspaper’s print edition is also available online through a daily digital edition and can be received via newsletter. “The Israel Hayom Clique,” the publication’s exclusive benefits club, offers website users discounts and special promotions on products and services. One of the main attractions in Europe between November and January is the Christmas markets. Several major cities are renowned for their vibrant and elaborate markets, and in recent years, more and more cities have joined the festivities, recognizing the significant tourist appeal.

The markets are set to open in just over two months. So before you book your holiday, here's a roundup of the most sought-after destinations.

  • Prague: November 30 to January 6
  • Berlin: November 25 to December 26
  • Vienna: November 15 to January 4
  • Budapest: November 17 to December 31
  • Colmar: November 26 to December 29
  • Warsaw: November 25 to January 6
  • Amsterdam: Late November to January 5
  • Krakow: November 24 to January 1

Other popular tourist destinations hosting Christmas markets include: Madrid from November 29 to December 29, Winter Wonderland in London from November 21 to January 5, Bucharest from November 30 to December 26, Wroclaw from November 26 to January 5, Rome from early December to January 6, Paris from mid-November to the end of December, and Barcelona from November 28 to December 24.

New York City also boasts several Christmas markets, with the Bryant Park market expected to run from October 27 to January 2, Union Square from November 26 to October 24, Columbus Circle from November 28 to December 31, Grand Central from November 13 to December 24, and more.

It's important to note: each of these cities hosts a variety of markets and attractions, some of which will open during the dates mentioned. In some locations, openings may be delayed, meaning only certain markets will be partically operational on specific dates. It's essential to stay updated on any potential changes.
