Rocket sirens were activated in most parts of Israel on Tuesday following missile launches from Iran. The Home Front Command issued an instruction for residents to enter protected spaces.
One of the missiles struck a bus in a parking lot in a city in the Sharon region. According to the municipality, security forces and municipal emergency teams are on the ground. Magen David Adom said five people sustained light injuries.
Explosions were heard in the central region and in the Sharon. Similar sounds were also reported over Jerusalem. There are initial reports of a building hit in the Sharon region. In addition, there are suspicions of people trapped at one of the impact sites in the center of the country.
Magen David Adom teams were dispatched shortly thereafter to scan additional sites. The Home Front Command later announced that it is now safe to leave protected spaces.
