Yair Netanyahu, the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, shared his unfiltered views in a Monday interview with the TOV online portal, covering his father's leadership, Israel's electoral and judicial systems, and his decision to relocate abroad.
Addressing the Iranian threat and Operation Rising Lion, Yair remarked, "This is my father's life project; he's been fighting this issue for 30 years." He emphasized that his father "fought the entire world to make this happen, including eight years against Obama's nuclear deal – which did everything to appease the ayatollah regime."

He sharply criticized Israel's judicial system, referencing his father's ongoing trial and tensions with the attorney general. "The current situation cannot continue because, in practice, Israel's regime is not exactly a democracy. The citizens' votes at the ballot box have little meaning. It's important to understand that the 'deep state' in Israel is an extension of the American 'deep state,' not acting independently. What happened here was a color revolution, something the US does in many third-world countries to topple regimes that don't suit them."
He alleged foreign interference, stating, "The money for all the disturbances during the corona period, the Balfour protests [against his father], and the judicial reform came largely from the European Union – especially from countries like Germany, Sweden, Britain, and France." He claimed these nations oppose judicial reform, aiming for "a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital" while "Israel stays quiet as Iran acquires a nuclear bomb."
חששתי שבסוף לי לינץ׳. pic.twitter.com/pql2fZJ5UK

On the attorney general's role, Netanyahu asserted, "A fourth branch of government has been created in Israel that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world – the legal advisory system. This role holds more power than the US president. It has stolen more and more powers from the government without any law granting them."
Drawing parallels between Israel and Iran, Yair said, "In Israel, there's a regime very similar to the Iranian system. In Iran, there's a facade of democracy outwardly, but everyone understands it's nonsense. Everyone there is a puppet; there's a council of unelected sages above the political game, and they actually rule. It's quite similar here; we have an unelected council – the Supreme Court justices. It's safe to say that elections in Israel are basically nonsense. We go to vote every less than four years, sadly, and it's a kind of game – to give a narrative of feeling freedom, somewhat like the ayatollah regime."

Regarding his father's trial, he stated, "The trial isn't about cigars or Bugs Bunny; it's about Netanyahu being elected time and again, and they can't beat him at the ballot box." He also highlighted what he termed "terror": "There are militias here operating like army platoons, funded by psychopathic individuals, some of whom go in and out of asylums, using the protest for something else. It's entirely terror because it's not about protesting; it's about breaking you and making your daily life miserable – until you give up."
Concluding, Netanyahu recounted the night of protests following the firing of Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant, describing his fear: "I was alone at home, and there was a moment I thought the protesters would break in. They started climbing the fences with torches – a rather fascist symbol. They said they were going to kill me, and I saw the police doing nothing, with orders from above to let them do whatever they wanted." He explained that his inability to "even go to a restaurant" led him to relocate to Miami, where he alleged, "When I moved to America, Kaplan [anti-Netanyahu] activists set up a surveillance network on me with private investigators costing millions of dollars."
