Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the cabinet regarding the latest developments in the Sde Teiman affair, following Tomer-Yerushalmi's admission to leaking the video and her resignation. Netanyahu said, The incident at Sde Teiman caused enormous damage to Israel and the IDF — perhaps the most serious propaganda blow since the founding of the state. This requires an independent and impartial investigation.
Legal sources told Israel Hayom that the attorney general and the High Court petitions department, which represented the Military Advocate General's Office and issued its responses to the High Court of Justice, were unaware of and surprised by Tomer-Yerushalmi's involvement in the leak of the Sde Teiman video. They said they had relied on information provided to them by relevant officials in the Military Advocate General's Office.
