Iran issued a series of threats after an Israeli Air Force strike in the Dahiyeh district of southern Beirut. A television channel affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said, "Iran's response is certain. In a few hours, Jewish skies will again rain missiles," Iran International reported.
Mohammad Jafar Asadi, deputy commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the main command center of Iran's armed forces, said Israel's latest attack on Hezbollah in Beirut would not go unanswered. Asadi described the strike in Dahiyeh as a renewed Israeli provocation.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf also commented on the IDF strike in Dahiyeh, saying it demonstrated that the US could not be trusted to uphold its commitments under agreements with it.
Israel struck a Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut's Dahiyeh district on Sunday, following fire by the terrorist organization toward Israeli territory. In a joint statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said the strike was carried out on their orders and was a direct response to the fire. "Israel will not tolerate fire at its territory," the statement said. According to reports in Lebanon, three people were killed in the strike.
