The detonation of Hezbollah tunnels and the launch of drones toward IDF troops only prove the reality on the ground, as the US pressures Israel to avoid escalation.

As the conflict in Iran drags on, perhaps longer than its initial supporters expected, it seems that a sound understanding of the founding rationale for its conduct has become increasingly obscure. Accordingly, it is crucial to underscore what the stakes in this conflict are, and why nothing less than the total capitulation of the theocrats in Tehran will suffice as an acceptable outcome.

The President's Residence believes that before making a dramatic decision of "yes" or "no" on Netanyahu's pardon request, it would be right to first exhaust the possibility of reaching a plea bargain. According to the president's legal adviser, the meeting is only a preliminary stage before the president holds a discussion on the pardon request itself.

Iran has recorded numerous successes while preventing any significant signs of internal destabilization, from protests to defections.
