The comparisons between the Arab riots of 1921 and those of 2021 can teach us a lot. Not much has changed in terms of the total rejection if the idea of a Jewish state by radicalized entities in the Arab population in Israel. On the other hand, the Jewish population's understanding of this state of conflict is being eroded with time. The illusion of coexistence and concessions alongside the "understanding" of the suffering of the aggressive Arab site are causing the Israeli position to weaken, to our enemies' joy.

A large part of what is called "the media" in Israel serves a major role in demoralizing the Jewish population of Israel. They are the ones who should be subject to a total consumer boycott. The part the legal system has played in castrating the abilities of Israel's security forces to respond is a matter that must be addressed at the root. The Jewish side in the conflict has a lot of work ahead of it.
Meanwhile, there is a development on the Palestinian side and among the Arab Israelis who identify with them. They were dealt a terrible blow by the Abraham Accords. All of a sudden, they realized that much of the Arab world was tired of them, tired of funding their insanity and whims along with the comfortable lives they lead, and sick of the artificial struggle that is holding the entire Middle East hostage. They saw how quickly young people in the United Arab Emirates and other Arab states, like Saudi Arabia, formed ties with Israelis, and the excitement over Israel and the desire to work with it for a better future for all the peoples of the Middle East.
The Arabs in Israel were frightened. After all, the conflict with Israel and the Jews is their bread and butter. What will they do without a conflict? Be asked to take responsibility for their lives and future? God forbid. So they did what they are used to doing: they lit up the territory. But, and this is an important but, the Arab world didn't give them the unconditional backing they were used to. And this is a process that has been unfolding for a few years.
And a word about Public Security Minister Amir Ohana, who is the focus of public criticism. He was the first to issue the Israel Police clear instructions to take action against the drug and weapons-trafficking gangs in the Arab sector, months ago. The time when Arab criminal families in Israel did whatever they wanted is at an end. As far as the families and gangs are concerned, there was an urgent need to make it clear to the authorities that they would not accept any intervention in their affairs. They are the ones responsible for setting this fire, along with radical isolationist Islamist officials.
We are in a war for sovereignty, against a lot of enemies – at home and abroad. A war is a war. We must not capitulate. Anyone who does, disappears.
