Hours after it was reported that the second in command in Hamas' military wing, Marwan Issa, may have been eliminated in an Israeli airstrike, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that all the top leaders of the terrorist organizations are in Israel's sights, using cryptic language.

In a video message on X, he said, "Number 4 in Hamas was eliminated. 1, 3, and 2 are on the way." Issa is generally considered the No. 3 in Hamas, second only to military wing chief Mohammed Deif and the movement's leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.
The "Number 4" that was eliminated according to Netanyahu, could be the commander of the northern Gaza Strip, Ahmed Ghandour, although it could also be Saleh Arouri, who was assassinated in a Lebanon drone attack (which Israel has not claimed responsibility for) and was part of the group's foreign leadership. He served as the deputy head of the political bureau and was responsible for terror operations in the West Bank.
