What led Israel to war with Iran during war in Gaza?

Through this crushing blow, Israeli leadership sent an unmistakable message about their determination to target the "puppet master" orchestrating the proxies – Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis – Israel has been relentlessly battling across multiple fronts.

The world is still reeling from Operation Rising Lion, Israel's stunning assault on Iran's nuclear infrastructure that has sent shockwaves across the international community. The audacious military operation targeting Iran's nuclear program and senior leadership has triggered intense global debate over its timing amid escalating regional warfare and unsuccessful ceasefire talks with Hamas.

The IDF chief of staff emphasized the operation's necessity, declaring, "There was no alternative" after intelligence exposed Iran's alarming proximity to nuclear weapons capability. The intelligence demonstrated that the Iranian regime – a government that has relentlessly threatened Israel's annihilation for decades – was able to produce nuclear weapons within weeks.

The breathtakingly sophisticated operation deployed Israeli fighter jets in coordination with years of meticulous preparation that enabled Mossad operatives to systematically dismantle Iran's missile defense systems before the strike commenced.

Beyond the clear metaphor, the operation's powerful name draws from ancient biblical verses that portray Israel as a mighty lion poised to obliterate its enemies, while simultaneously invoking Iran's forgotten pre-revolutionary symbol of the lion and sun from before the Islamic Revolution transformed the nation.

Through this crushing blow, Israeli leadership sent an unmistakable message about their determination to target the "puppet master" orchestrating the proxies – Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis – Israel has been relentlessly battling across multiple fronts.

While facing international backlash, numerous world leaders have courageously rallied behind the action. Dutch politician Geert Wilders delivered a stark warning of global consequences, declaring, "Israel is fighting our battle. If Jerusalem falls, Athens, Paris, and Amsterdam will be next."
