After the Holocaust, Greta searched tirelessly for her brother Walter. A man she knew said he had seen him during one of the death marches. This 12-page letter documented the atrocities committed against Jews in the Tarnopol region of Galicia from 1941-1943.

He was a young boy when taken to Sobibor death camp, where he participated in assassinations of SS men through deceptive operations by camp Jews and became the last Jew to leave there alive.
