Jewish Republican congressman Randy Fine, "the Hebrew Hammer," has become Congress's loudest voice against antisemitism – and faces accusations of anti-Muslim racism. In August he faces a primary against "Instagram king" Dan Bilzerian, who Fine says called him "a fat Jew" and claimed "a lot of soap" could be made from him.

The US has formulated a plan to help the Lebanese army disarm Hezbollah, the Lebanese Al-Modon reported, citing sources in Washington. According to the report, Israel's demands went beyond demilitarizing southern Lebanon and also included the Beqaa Valley in the country's east. The sources warned of the problems that could derail the plan.
