Trump: 'Netanyahu has no f***ing judgment'

In an unusual and tense call between the two leaders, the US president expressed anger over the Israeli strike in Dahiyeh, criticized Netanyahu's judgment and demanded that he refrain from further attacks. Trump claimed the move delayed the signing of the agreement with Iran and said he would act to prevent an Iranian response against Israel.

Amid preparations for fire from Iran following the Israeli strike in Dahiyeh, US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held an especially tense and unusual call on Sunday evening, during which curses were also heard in English.

President Trump told Channel 12 News that he had conveyed a message to Netanyahu that he was unhappy with the strike Israel carried out in Beirut. "Why did Bibi carry out this strike? Hezbollah fired and hit the middle of nowhere. Nobody was hurt. And then he had to carry out this f***ing strike, and in Beirut of all places. That made me very angry," Trump said.

Trump added, "They called me and told me: Sir, Israel is attacking in Beirut, an hour before we were supposed to sign the agreement. I couldn't believe this was happening. This is very bad."

Trump also said, "Bibi has no f***ing judgment. I conveyed that message to him, that I am very unhappy."

Trump emphasized that he believes the agreement with Iran is "good" for Israel because it will ensure that Iran does not have nuclear weapons, allow visits to suspicious sites in Iran with 24 hours' notice and eliminate Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium. "We were supposed to sign the agreement this morning, and the Israeli strike in Beirut delayed it," he said. "I think the signing will still happen today, in a few hours. But the Israeli strike shook things up."

Trump added that "the agreement with Iran is expected to be signed within two to three hours." He also said he intended to contact Iran and ask it not to respond by firing missiles at Israel.
