The support Hamas received after October 7 necessitates making it clear that a Palestinian state will not be established alongside Israel. We must engage President Trump in creative solutions, such as the 'Emirates Plan.'

The differences in outlook between the outgoing administration and the incoming one are no secret. While analyzing intergovernmental relations often emerges only years later through the lens of historical perspective, the divergent approaches toward Israel are already apparent.

One significant indication of Trump’s stance was his success in coercing Netanyahu, against his will, into a hostage deal.  

Israel will have to play along with President Trump’s priorities such as the hostage deal and a Saudi deal. The it will be well placed to expect a return from Trump down the line on other issues.

Trump's policy could be very beneficial to Israel, provided that it establishes a frank and credible dialogue with it, presents it with a realistic plan, a pragmatic road map to be able to continue together the implementation of the Abraham Accords and diplomatic normalization with Saudi Arabia.
