In a special operation, the Shin Bet discovered a sophisticated Claymore-type explosive device, a hallmark of Hezbollah operations. The device featured an advanced remote activation system, complete with a camera and a cellphone, enabling its operation from Lebanese territory.
"The Security Cabinet has updated the objectives of the war to include the following: Returning the residents of the north securely to their homes. Israel will continue to act to implement this objective," the Prime Minister's Office said on X.
